Long time no see! A crazy theory about the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ sequel

If there's anything that can get me out of my writing slump (for now), it's Avengers: Infinity War -- the culmination of all we've been waiting for since we first saw Thanos six years ago -- which I just watched today. Took leave to catch the very first show (which was pretty packed, despite the early hour!) And can I say: WHOA.

I'm back! I ended up skipping last month's edition of "Movies Coming Soon" because procrastination got in the way. :S This is late too, but there are some really great movies coming out this month that I want to talk about, so I'm getting this out before it makes no more sense to publish it.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ review: Darker and more emotional

The general consensus among critics seems to be that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 isn't as good as the first one. I'm not so sure about that. The first movie was the oddball, weird kooky cousin of the other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, and I did like it, but not as fondly as say, Thor or Ant-Man, or even Doctor Strange. Vol. 2 feels darker and more emotional than the first, though it still retains its quirkiness. If not for the underlying sinister tones of the film, I would have preferred it to the first. As it is, their pros and cons balance them out for me.
