Instant reaction post: “Game of Thrones” S6, Ep2 ‘Home’
I read hints that exciting things happen in this episode, so I didn't spoil it for myself. And now I won't feel the need to do it anymore. :D

Game of Thrones is back. Yay? To be honest, I am not overly enthused about this new season, since the last one ended not very well for all our favourite characters (unless your favourite characters are the Boltons, and Ser Alliser Thorne and the traitors of the Night's Watch).
Happy New Year everyone! New Year's resolution for this blog: To update more frequently, and timely. Hope it sticks (unlike last year).
Season finale time! I managed to have nothing spoilt for me tonight by covering my screen everytime something that looked Game of Thrones-related came up…

The show opens where it left off last week: with Dany and Tyrion meeting. Even in a distinctly disadvantageous position, Tyrion still talks back. (Though if he doesn't, he wouldn't be the Tyrion we know and love.) But it's true, if not for his pesky relatives undermining him all the time, he actually has a very impressive resume.
To be honest, I was dreading this episode because I didn't want to see the aftermath of last week's rape scene. But many of the headlines on my newsfeed proclaimed this episode as one of the series' best ever, so I gave it a chance. And thankfully they didn't dwell on the terrible things that happen in Sansa and Ramsay's bedroom, which made it way easier to stomach.
Going into this episode, I had an inkling of what was going to happen, just from scrolling down my newsfeed and seeing the headlines of news articles, and the pictures they chose to use. It spoilt the surprise a little. Oh well. :( It was horrible. Maybe it's better to be forewarned.
